I agree as well. Although I've never "shipped" them for obvious reasons, I still respected their relationship because it did mean something.

Not that I advocate a teacher dating a student, I preferred him with Andie, and while Andie did believe in him and bring out the greatness in him, as well as raise his self esteem, Tamara was the first person techically to believe in and see greatness in him. And one of the only people to defend him to a member of his family (Doug), and put said family member in his place. I will always love Tamera for the way she told Doug off in that courtroom, the look of shock on his face was priceless. It made me wish she didn't have an affair with Pacey and she was kept on as the teacher who fraught for her student and inspired Pacey to do well in school. She knew Pacey was smart from the getgo and I remember a scene where she tells Pacey it takes effort to do this bad in school, implying he was doing it on purpose, and he basically admitted to doing so.
