That second one was a gut-wrencher, for sure. Though, seeing them together and knowing they were both going to be like fathers to Amy was some consolation. You know that both taking such active roles in her life, despite Jen's absence, only brought them closer with time.


I always thought it was strange that they never seemed close even though Pacey was dating Jack's sister in S2 and it took them until S5 to really form a lasting friendship.

I've never really thought about that. I agree, that was kind of weird. In S2 he was not only dating Andie, but he stood up to Mr. Peterson for him in a way. I'm not saying that Jack was obligated to befriend him because of those things, but you'd think it'd bring them together and be the beginning of a great friendship. It was in a way, just that we had to wait until S5 for the continuation of it. Or at least it felt that way.

I loved in S5 when Pacey was there for Jack when he was spiraling.

In season 2, Jack helped Pacey in Uncharted Waters, he noticed Mr. Witter's offenses weren't jokes as Dawson assumed, and he let Pacey catch the big fish and be the hero of the day.








Then Pacey defended Jack in the english class and although at the beginning Jack felt exposed he thanked Pacey at the end.

I was so happy when Jack finally thanked Pacey for what he did about Mr. Peterson... because it was kind of like his coming out to Pacey in a way. Or maybe I just think that lol.
