I spent all day watching I'm a Celebrity, get me out of here. And I hate to watch shows like those because I just think its has been actors trying to get their names on TV again and it is kind of, but they are doing the show for charity, so I can't really fault them for that

I watched The Proposal the other night and OMG I just LOVE the movie. Its been a long time since I enjoyed a Sandra Bullock movie and she was freakin hilarious in the movie and Ryan Reynolds

I am soo in love with that man

I'm watching The Client right now and it makes me a little sad to think of how talented Brad Renfro was and what a promising career he had.

I haven't seen that movie in years. I think the last movie I saw of Brad Renfro was that movie with Donald Sutherland and it has Josh in it, I can't remember the movie's name now.

I think you're thinking of Ian McKellan, not Donald Sutherland, in the Apt Pupil with Brad and Josh. That was sooo long ago. Brad did a lot of smaller, independent projects after that.

I still can't believe he died.

I was always a huge fan of us.

My question is, to anyone who might know, did she ever consider being an actress when she was younger? I'm not really a fan so I wouldn't know, but it stands to reason that if you think you are going to be doing a job that pertains to you being in the public eye, making a sex tape (no matter how tame it might be) probably is not a wise choice. I don't think it makes her a bad person but I think she made an ill-advised choice. Personally, I think anyone, famous or not, who knowingly tapes themselves having sex is putting themselves in a potentially bad situation.

I am don't really understand the Paris Hilton/Kim Kardashian comparisons either. Leighton has actually developed herself as an actress. She is not famous because she was born rich or has infamous parents. She is famous because she's worked to build a name for herself. Some people have suggested that she leaked it herself to get more publicity for herself and I think that's ridiculous. She is an established actress with a pretty substantial fanbase, largely populated by young women.

Although, I somehow doubt her reputation will be tarnished too much. The pattern with these tapes is that they are big news for awhile then they fade away, only to be referenced later.

I'm not familiar with Leighton Meester, even though I know she is on GG but if I tripped and fell over her I probably still wouldn't know who she is. But I looked up on wikipedia that she started off as a model at age 11 working with Sophia Coppola and then became an actress. So I'm guessing if she working in the business since that age, she had to have known making a sex tape is not a wise decision, but she's young so I don't think she fully understood the ramification that comes with making a sex tape and working in Hollywood.

But I don't understand the Paris/Kim comparison either because she is a million miles away from those two girls. There famous because of their parents and became even more famous because of their own tapes. I doubt that Leighton wanted that tape out.

But I'm curious how does the whole tape thing work, once you make it you have one tape, so you give it to your boyfriend?

I like her but I think that making a tape is a very very very stupid idea

It always get out especially since at 18 (I think she was 18) you're bond to break up with your boyfriend one day and if he doesn't take it well, of course he's gonna use it. I feel really bad for her though, she seems so nice.

And, yes, I was there to witness.

I am of the opinion that it looks like a cheap romance novel cover and I am not a fan of those at all. I think if Jacob and Bella were in a different pose, more natural looking embrace maybe, I wouldn't mind it. And I don't like the Edward on the moon at all. It looks creepy. But I like that the wolf pack is in the background.

I know, I know, I try to ruin all the JB fan's moments, don't I?

Edward does look evil, like he's going to kill them or something

So are all the books going to get a new cover whenever a movie comes out?

Probably.

They tend to do that with all novels that are turned into films. They market the film and the book that way. People see the book with the fancy cover of a film they saw a trailer for on television but weren't entirely sure about seeing. Then they by and read the book, and decide to see the film. Sell a book, sell a movie ticket, everybody wins.

In the case of Twilight, the books with the new cover will fly off shelves because its exciting for Jacob/Bella fans. I think they're also advertising that there is a poster that comes with the new book which people are speculating looks just like the book cover.

Thank god they didn't do that to the Harry Potter books, can you imagine the covers

Personally I think they are hyping this movie up way to early and fast. The movie is still 6 months away and its getting all this coverage, and when it comes time for the movie to come out and you watch it you are left disappointed because it didn't meet your expectations like you were hoping.
