Yes, they've integrated a bunch of physical apparitions of Edward in the film whereas in the book, Bella can only hear his voice. It was in one of the sneak peeks, actually. I was like, "LAME!"

I think it's the simple fact that...Taylor can't carry the film like Robert did.

And that speaks to the horrible marketing that Summit has done, not to anything to do with Taylor, really. Summit made Robert Pattinson a "star," even though that's not what he wanted, and they've banked the success of these films on him and Kristen Stewart. I cannot say this for sure but I wouldn't be at all surprised if Summit was propagating this Kristen/Rob dating business just to sell tickets. Its ridiculous, really.

I don't doubt it for one moment. I never for one second thought they were dating, its all about getting the tickets sold and making as much money as possible. And you know Rob and Kristen are both going along with it as well.

Hopefully the special effects will be better in NM then it was in Twilight, cause that was just laughable

I never thought Rob and Kristen had chemistry, they both fell flat. Plus...I don't really think Kristen is all that good of an actress. Rob carried the film and is probably going to carry the next three.

I just watched them... Taylor and Kristen do have great chemistry, at least in that clip. And he's looking good lol.

The apparitions weren't so bad IMO. I loved her hearing his voice in the book and I think I prefer that. But call me a fangirl, the more EB, the better.

I'm so glad this movie has COLOR. Twilight was blue and it annoyed the crap out of me.

Speaking of Taylor Lautner... I was flipping through the channels today and I heard a familiar voice so I stopped. It was TL as "Sharkboy."

He was a kid, but just add a little height and lots of muscles, he looks the same lol.

The effects look better, but I can't say overall or for sure. The previews were made using a video phone so...yeah...but I don't think they could be anywhere near as bad as Twilight.

Kristen is actually a decent actress, in my opinion. She just can't do a "character," if you know what I mean. It's like...Bella is a very distinct kind of character and Kristen seems like she is the exact opposite of Bella and she just couldn't pull it off. And I'll readily admit that it wasn't Rob's greatest performance either.

And I don't think they were/are dating either, Ali. But some fans just can't let it go. I have one girl who just won't leave me alone about it, no matter how much I say I don't freaking care.

It's almost too bad these previews have drained me of all desire to see this movie because, based on that scene, I might not have to dislike J/B in the movie. Oh well.

I liked them to an extent. I really didn't understand the romance aspect of them. But I just have trouble liking Bella, period. She is too co-dependent for my taste. So it's hard for me to ship her with anyone.

The only reason I can ship EB because she made him happy. Still, I'm getting into my "Shipping AU Couples" phase with Twilight now.

Insane is one word for it. I can think of a few others that I will keep to myself.

Jake/Leah have become one of my many obsessions as of late.

I plan on re-reading the Jake part of BD on break from school so I can bask in their awesomeness. She is the only one I really ship with Jake. I kinda like the idea of Jake/Rosalie too, because they totally hate each other, but I think Jake/Leah could have been an amazing pairing. And then there was the vampire/human baby hybrid and everything went downhill.

Yeah, BD was a mess. Being an EB fan I loved the wedding and etc. I think my favorite part of BD was Bella's transformation because I wanted that since Twilight. When Bella had a bump on her belly, the last thing I thought it was was a baby let alone a freaking half vamp/half human baby. It got way too weird for me lol.

I was completely unspoiled for all of the books so I really thought Jacob was going to imprint on Leah. I loved that they both could hear each other's heartbreak. They are kind of perfect for each other, dammit.

Anyway, off to bed!
