Speaking of accidents, have you heard about the Airbus that was supposed to do Rio/Paris? We still don't know what happened

I had that minor accident, and then like in 07 I rear ended a guy, which is completely his fault because the light was green and then he stopped all of a sudden and when he got out of the car he complained of neck problems and nothing happened to the car, there was no damage, NONE!!!. And then when I tried to talk to him, he kept telling me he didn't speak English but miraculously when the cops came, he did but thankfully the insurance companies didn't believe him, what a moron lol. And then 6 months later some guy pulled out in front of on coming traffic cause he wasn't watching where he was going and side swept me and my front bumper and the right hand side of my car was totally gone, thankfully nothing happened to either one of us. So...I'm like a paranoid freak when it comes to driving...yet it hasn't deterred my speeding

How the hell can a plane just disappear, or did they find it? Its like a Fringe episode I tell you.

I only kill squirrels when going around them is not possible. I'd rather hit an animal than cause an accident. Unlike my mother who brakes for f'ing birds and nearly causes accidents. She scares the crap out of me when she does that stuff.

I'm a bad driver too. Once, I ran a red light from a stopped position. I had stopped at the red light then completely dazed. I didn't see any cars coming and drove on. My brother says, "That was still red, you know." I hate driving when someone else is with me. The only time I don't care is when I'm DD and everyone is too drunk to mind.

The simple answer is no. I don't even know what that is, to be honest.

I killed a bird once I was driving to Texas from California and it just came out of no where, my dad started laughing so hard, I felt so bad afterwards. I almost ran into a deer a couple of weeks ago, it was kind of dark and the road was curving and it came out of no where I braked so hard, thank god no one was behind me and Bambi didn't get hurt ;lol:

The same exact thing happened to my friends grandfather, we were all quiet in the car and he stopped and he just went like you did and we all started laughing so hard, I still laugh about it

Beth, Jess is talking about the plane that went missing heading towards Paris, I think they couldn't find it or something. It just recently happened like a few days ago.

It was missing And they're pretty sure it sinked into the sea by now. They're not sure about the reason though. More than 200 people are dead which is sad.

Fringe was supposed to start this week btw But they chose not to show the pilot yet because of what happened

Obviously, I'm a little out of the loop. I will have to read up on it.

So will you be watching Fringe, Jess?

I wonder how it sank, cause you would think that the size and weight of it would keep it afloat, or did it do a titanic and break in half some how. Nothing makes sense about it, but its so sad for those people and their family members who are wondering what happened

i had a strange occurence when i was driving...the light turned red before i reached the "stopping line" (i don't know what it's called) but i crossed it anyways...right in front of two cop cars...who then proceeded to turn on the road i was driving on

luckily they didn't seem to notice

or care

Well you got lucky lol.

One night I was speeding home because I was taking the back way from my friends house and its all woodsy and scary looking and I had a car behind me the whole time and when I finally came to a stop sign near my house, I saw that a cop had been following me the whole time, when I was going 60 in a 35 ...I guess he knew I was scared and there was no way in hell I was going to pull over at night for a cop with no people or business in sight.

heh...at least he didn't scare you

reminds me of the time i was the designated driver and drove a friend from a house near the woods..
he was puking in the town once we left the woods (as in near Starbucks etc.) out the window...and the car next to us noticed

almost to his house we get pulled over for a bs reason (something about obscure language from a cb radio?)

and it was my first party (with alcohol)

I've never heard of getting pulled over for obscene language from the radio, that's a first. He probably just wanted to give you guys a ticket, both young men out, one is drunk

Neither have I. If that happened, all the cops in my old neighborhood would have been able to meet their monthly ticket quota by sitting outside of my HS for a week. Everyone's music was always loud, obscene rap.

And I agree. Sounds like the cops were just being dicks...excuse my language. The only thing worse than a cop is the US border patrol. A few years back, my friend Aaron was home on leave we went to Windsor with my brother, and a couple of their other friends. The irony is both Aaron and I were old enough to drink here but the 3 other boys weren't. Lame. So we go and they get wrecked to the point where we get kicked out of a bar (classy right) and we get to the border station coming back into the US and the guys are absolute a-holes. They give Aaron a hard time because he doesn't have his birth certificate or his leave papers, calling him a deserter and making all kinds of nasty comments. It's a good thing I didn't drive because I would have ended up getting us detained because I wanted to tell those guys off. That's why I never drive coming back from Canada...I have a big mouth and a low threshold for stupidity. I get it. They protect our borders and Aaron should have had his leave papers on him. Still, calling a servicemen a deserter is just plain wrong to me. Especially when he's not. Beside, why would he show his f'n military ID to get back into the US if he was deserting? Really.

Just goes to show that when you give some people a little power, they get all stupid.

Ugg I had stupid people. Its like first of all if he was a deserter then why the hell would he be coming back in the US and talking to the border patrol? There just pissing because they didn't have the balls to join the reserve and have to sit at a booth.

Some people are stupid by nature, give them a little power and they'll be real pain in the ass.

Obama is in France this week end (in Paris and on the west coast) which means that Paris will be hell Thank you

Good hell or bad hell? No need for thanks, Jess. We don't mind sharing our president.
