I was glad she had the chance to put her issues with her dad behind her, with a little help from Drue. Even though it hurt him to retell her what happened that last night in NY, I think it gave her the means to get the closure she needed. I think having Drue in S4 helped Jen to become a stronger, more adjusted person overall.

That scene from Promicide wouldve been awesome, too bad we never got to see it.

I have a thing for ships that dont get the happy ending,

but poor Drue/Jen were destroyed long before they could even start on the road to get to a happy ending.

I bring vodka to the bitter barn, I need something stronger than cookies and crackers.

Btw i loved Jack and Toby, and hated how they were done with in S5, but they couldve brought Drue back like that too.

Only if it was to explain to us why Drue/Jen couldnt happen, but that wouldve made us even more mad.

And i agree about Drue playing a huh epart in Jen being able to lay her demons to rest finally. She emerged stronger and much more at peace with herself, and I liked seeing Jen happy in S5, though most of it was when she was with Dawson.

That would have made me more mad. If he was coming back, I wanted him back for good. Or, at least, the whole 5th season. I'm not very flexible on this now. I wanted my Drue/Jen in S5 if Drue was in Boston. Period.

That is pretty substantial. I would have given up all of the PJen friendship scenes to have Drue/Jen in S5. But, shhhh, don't tell the others.

So it is pretty safe to say that we both would have put our Drue/Jen love above all else.

Isnt that awesome... and just so sad. Awesome that we'd give up the couple we love for them, and sad cuz we never got any Drue/Jen in S5.

Ahh, the story of DC wouldve been much different if I was around with my whip then. I can think of SO many things I'd like to fix.

Jess wouldve liked my version of DC.

I will read it soon.

It's alright. I get the JB appeal in theory, just not in practice. More and more, my Twilight love is getting more Edward focal. I'm still going through my Edward/Rosalie phase.

I would have been okay with any version of DC as long as Drue and Jen were together, and Jen was good friends with Pacey. That's it. I have no other stipulations.

And if we'd written the show, those are things I would have added.

It's not so much I love Rose, but Rose and Edward have a lot of unwritten history. Sure, we're suppose to believe they always "hated" each other, and there was nothing between them but...it's not that black and white to me. Sound like another couple we know and love?

Edward and Leah could be hot.

Never much thought about it. Leah is one of the few girl characters I genuinely like, though.

Well, ofcourse lots of DJ. Even if I wrote it because you'd chase me around with your whip if I didn't include them in a big way. Actually, I'd leave all that to you guys and I'd work mostly on all the facets of Jen's life. I'd also handle the Pacey because, well, I am the expert amongst us.

Rosalie had personality.

And yeah, that sounds exactly like Nathan and Peyton, and another couple we love.

And Leah is my fave female character in the books. the girl has spunk.

And seriously I could see Edward only with her, rest of them would end up like Bella, a swooning, flailing, hyperventilating pathetic mess.

Oh and btw, by lots of DJ, I meant Dawson and Joey and Drue and Jen.

I think her appeal is that she's not so easily welcoming to new people.

I actually didn't even think of Nathan/Peyton when I said that, but you're right.

All my ships these days have history that fandom knows so little about. I think it has to do with having the option to make it what I want it to be. Like with Drue and Jen. I like the idea that even though they were wild back in the day, they were still good friends.

And I'm sure that Leah/Edward has nothing to do with your JB love, right?

I kinda like Jacob and Leah because they both have that whole tortured thing going on. That and I just love pairings that got a lot of hate.

I always forget how many DJs there are on the Creek.
