I've heard the owners really hate it when tourists/fans of the show show up to take pictures of the house. Understandable, as it's their personal property, but I know that if I took a trip to Wilmington, I would just feel so obligated to get a picture of that house.

Maybe you could hide behind a tree or in the bushes to take a picture.
 I wonder if that still happens a lot now that the show has been off the air for over a decade.__________________

        [x]  This scene was so well acted, you could feel Mitch's conflict and grief and rage and pain as well as Dawson's. And it's pretty easy to relate to both pov.__________________

^ Yes, you could feel each characters agony in that scene. Kudos to Jame and John.
I always liked the Dawson/Mitch relationship a bit more than the Dawson/Gale one, though they were both great. I think John and James just had a really powerful dynamic.__________________

Just finished watching Hurricane and wow, that's one powerful episode. The scenes between Mitch and Gail just broke my heart. Especially when he told Gail that he was taking back his decision to love her, that he was deciding to hate her now.
Then that end scene where they just sit in front of the house--both so lost and heartbroken. I really like how this show handled the affair and their struggles to find their way back to the way things used to be. I really like how it paralleled with what Grams said about people getting second chances in the old movies and how forgiveness is the most powerful gift the Lord gives us. Mitch/Gail were proof of that--it took them a long time to get back to the way things used to be but once they got there, it was worth all the pain. They got their rainbow at the end of the storm.__________________

a lot of the scenes are powerful. dawson is my favorite and the most real character on the show and the most relatable imo.

I always thought so.
Rewatching s1 really makes me wonder how his flaws are any worse than any of the other characters. He admits to his flaws and he even wishes he were different. But he is who he is. I think everyone wants things to be perfect even though they aren't. It's hard to accept that things aren't exactly as you picture them to be, no matter what age you are. Speaking of s1, that dance between Gale and Mitch in Boyfriend was really sweet. "Going back to basics."  __________________
