| Here is a thing I wrote about my experience when I got back home in 1999...
I was in Wilmington from November 11th til the 15th because I won a comp to go to the Concert On The Creek! As a part of the competition we had like a guided tour around Wilmignton. The guy that drove our van was awesome! He was really nice to me and my mum especially coz he was so amazed that we had come all the way from Aussie for Dawson's. Anyway he works on the DC sometimes and new when and where they were filming on the Monday we were leaving! (how nice was that of him to tell me) He said i couldnt tell ne one else coz he would get in trouble. On Monday morning mum and I woke up and 6am and caught a cab down to Molley's Market! When we got there there was already three big white trucks with cameras and props in that back! We went up to a guy and asked who was filming today and he said that Kerr and Michelle were and they would arrive in 25 minutes and he'd ask Michelle if when she finished rehersals could she come over and talk to me! But he said that he couldnt guarentee ne thing! So mum and I waited and watched them set up. I was getting really worried though coz our plane left at 10:15am. ABout 1/2 an hour later Michelle and a man came walking over. She was sooooo nice. She asked me my name and where I was from. When I said Australia she was so surprised that I had come all the way from there lol and I was like omg of course i did lol. We talked for a while about the Concert and how she had an awesome time and I said that I did too! She signed my Dc calendar for me and then I had two photos taken with her! She was soooooooo nice and omg she is so beautiful. She hadnt had her hair or make up done and she looked absolutely gorgeous!!! After about 5 minutes she had to leave coz she was called to get her hair done! I couldnt have stayed ne longer ne way coz I would have missed out plane to Florida lol! But yeah meeting Michelle was awesome, she is the nicest girl. SHe is really sweet!
"The Concert on the Creek"
It was mainly hosted by Josh and Michelle although Katie, Meredith and Kerr had alot to do with it too. James seemed really shy and wasnt as involved. Josh is really funny and he seemed to adore Katie. He introduced her saying 'I wanna here all the guys scream now' and then we she came out he got on his knees and started to bow down to her. It was really funny and she got all shy and embarrassed. Josh seemed really laid back and casual, at one stage he got one of the presses camera and came onto the stage and started filming everyone. I yelled out to him that I loved him and he said 'I love you too babe'! That was so awesome lol! Michelle was really cool. She had to say all the countries that the 16 international winners were from...she had them written on her hand coz she was worried that she would forget one! At one point she forgot what she was suppose to be saying so she was like 'man i forget lol oh well just watch the screen' LOL They had like a big screen that came down in front of the stage between each act. They showed scenes from past episodes and some from a few future ones and they were like explaining things about the new season. Katie was saying how she felt that Dawson and Joey were soul mates and they would get together, break up, get back together etc!! Kerr and Meredith were really funny too. Kerr was mucking around and Josh pulled up his top. OMG does he have a nice body lol. Meredith dared him to shake his butt to the audience and he did and everyone laughed and then he said 'dya want me to run across the stage naked' and everyone screamed yes and he was like no way man and Meredith was tellin him he had to. LOL. Josh and Michelle seem as though they get on really well. They were really cute and they kept hugging each other! The same goes for Katie and Josh. They are so natural with one another. Josh kept on like praising her, he was extremely sweet! At the start he had to keep the audience busy for five minutes coz the web cams went down, so he asked the audience for suggestions. This one girl said that it was her friends bday (her friend was standing next to her). Josh was like ok hold on and he went and got Shaun Mullins. He asked how old the girl was turning and when she said 12 he laughed lol it was funny, I felt sorry for her. But then Shaun started to play happy bday on his guitar while Josh sang happy bday to her. (He is an alright singer lol) The entire crowd was sooo jealous of the little girl lol it was cool! Mary Margret Humes and John Wesley Snipp were in the audience and went up onto the stage at the end. I handed the cast stuffed kangeroos and Katie was like 'thank you' It was awesome! Earlier in the day when I met Meredith after we lied and said we need to go to the toilet when we were at the school (where the concert was being held) I gave her one and she was like 'omg u r so sweet Belinda'! No one was allowd in the school grounds except the 16 international winners and the organisers but we werent allowd inside coz everyone was there doing sound check. But we figured that itz not everyday that we would get to go to Wilmington and see the cast of Dawson's so when Rhiannon came up with the idea Hannah and I were like YES! lol and everyone else was wishing they did it too coz it worked. |
