Hey everybody. I watched my first episode of Dawson's Creek this morning. It was a bit of an odd situation. I stayed up all night to Watch Wimbledon (tennis), and it was at a frustrating part of the match, so I was flicking through the channels. I ended up at Dawson's Creek on a channel that usually has movies and older TV shows.

I immediately recognized Katie Holmes, well, I actually couldnt' figure out who it was at first, but I recognized her. Then I saw Dawson, and I remember making fun of people who used to watch this show when I was in Elementary and Junior high School; I'm 18 and in my second year of University now. So I figured, what the heck? I'll see what was all the rave about this show when I was watching Boy Meets World!

All I can say, is that this is a very good show. I saw the episode where it was Friday the 13th. It's too bad that I looked up the plot just now on wikipedia; even after watching only one episode, I'm a little disheartened that Pacey (so that's what his name is...) ends up with Katie Holmes. Oh well. It's really too bad that I know most of the major plot now... I am VERY bad for that. Especially with the OC, when it was still a decent show (I can't bare to watch it any longer, I only really liked the first season), and shows like Prison Break. Is it still even worth watching? I guess I'll try to find the DVD's somewhere. It's funny how we mature as we get older... no way would I have appreciated this show in my earlier years. I love finding older shows that I like, that I never gave a chance in the 90's, though. Shows like Degrassi High, and Oz, and this.

^ Aw. Being the biased person that I am, I say go for it. Keep watching it. It's actually a really good show. To me, it's one of those shows that you can't stop watching once you start. You just have to know whats going to happen, to these characters, and couples and plots, even if you've been spoiled, it's the details. You may have found out the big plots, but the small plots are worth watching. And you should look for the season 1 DVD, and watch from the pilot till the very last episode. Even though some episodes arn't really worth watching. Lucky for you, all 6 seasons are on DVD now.
