[2x15] "... That Is The Question" September 20th - September 27th

"... That Is The Question" ~ 2x15

Synopsis: On Dawson's advice, Joey attempts to heal the wounds of her new romance with Jack, which were left exposed by the poem and the resulting innuendo. Jack again reassures her. However, when Jack confronts his innermost secrets, their lives and everyone's close to them will never be the same again. Elsewhere, Pacey takes on Mr. Peterson and challenges his abusive teaching methods. His insistence on making things right in the school alienate Andie, and the two of them must work hard to put their relationship back together.

We would like to invite everyone to participate in our re-watch, be it first-time
viewer or long-time fan. This is our opportunity to relive the Dawson's Creek days and to
discuss our favorite moments, things we would like to change or maybe totally new
things we never noticed before. We will watch one episode every two weeks. Due to our different time-zones we decided to not name an exact
time and date, so everyone can decide for themselves when they watch the episode.
We will update this thread every second Friday, when we start a new episode, so all discussion
can take place in here too. Have Fun!

Such an emotional episode for Jack! But this is a great storyline for him. I love that he stood up this father and came out, and then when Andie supported Jack and told him to get out, that was a great moment! I was also glad that he and Joey broke up finally.

Pacey working to get that teacher fired! <3 I felt no empathy for him when he left.

Pacey/Andie continue to be adorable.

The DJo moments this episode were so great, I loved the tension between them and Dawson calling Joey sexy and telling her he made the wrong choice.

I loved they way Pacey stuck up for Jack with the Teacher. Pacey didn't care how people perceived him, he is just so selfless that way.

Pacey and Andie were adorable and I also loved how Andie stood up for Jack to their father.

The way Pacey dealt with his teacher in this episode was so much better than the last one. Mr. Peterson needed to be talked to about his treatment of the students. I liked that Pacey went to the library and studied this time around instead of acting on pure emotion. And I liked that Pacey finally apologized. That was actually a nice character moment for him. I think he learned a bit about himself in this one.

The Dawson/Pacey scene at the beginning of the episode was great. I like how they can talk to each other honestly without judgement. I forgot how great their friendship was in this season so I'm enjoying rewatching all their moments. It was kind of funny that this time around Pacey was the one sitting on the bed, watching movies, and brooding about his life. I thought gave him good advice about Andie even if he wasn't ready to hear it at first. I like how they help each other see things differently, something we've seen consistently over the course of the season.

And of course, the Pandie makeup was just so great. I like how they even started to "argue" about who was more in the wrong. It really was a sweet scene and I like that they cared enough about each other to both apologize. They both learned from their fight and became stronger for it.

Some great DJo moments in this one as well. Dawson giving Joey romantic advice was actually rather sweet. Something that probably pained him but he was willing to do it for her. And I like that he encouraged her to stop being insecure at the end of the episode. It's obvious they aren't over each other and it shows in episodes like this.
