One of the conditions Meredith set for her appearance, was that she appear as she normally looked. No more childish outfits and hair styles.

Meredith did not want to come back to film that episode as she was very highly pissed that she was dropped from the series. TPTB had to really kiss her butt to get her to come back.

Meredith allowed to look normally was easily the best looking actress on the series. She was the only actress that agreed to appear in a bikini episode 4/1

Yes I think I do. Originally the series was supposed to end D/J, but when KW had his brain seizure and changed the ending to P/J, the scene didn't really fit anymore as the scene was Pacey and Andie acknowledging their debt to each other. This is speculation. The scene was a setup for a Pacey Andie resuming their relationship. I read this years ago; the last scene of the series was supposed to be P/A going off to dinner

The following is speculation also: I have read that Meredith filmed three scenes when she came back. Two scenes are in the clip added to the DVD, I wonder if the third scene was P/A going off to dinner?

I also made a mistake. The last episode of the series she had no problem coming back. The episode I was referring to was the graduation episode season four.

To add to the sh**y way they treated Meredith the following happened: Williamson wanted her back for two or three weeks, but Meredith was filming a movie and couldn't do it, but she said she could do one day. Meredith flew out to NC filmed her scenes and went back to CA. All that just to have her scenes wind up on the cutting room floor.

The scenes were added in a DVD.
