To be fair, I think Joey told Pacey in 3x17 that Dawson and Pacey are the only 2 people that know her.

I agree with jarlath1 that the show is about DJo and how they're soulmates and everything should be looked at from that context. But I think PJo had a strong story too. For a couple that was meant to be roadkill, I think the writers put a lot into PJo in seasons 3 and 4. To be honest, I found season 5 quite jarring the first time I saw it (in regards to how easily PJo was swept under the rug). I like S5 more now, but I can understand how PJers feel about it.

Yeah I can understand about season 5, I did like pacey/audrey together. They were funny and a breath of fresh air from all the PJ/Dj drama.

Kimmy Schmidt is a DJo fan, but Purvis is definitely a PJo fan

There's really something for each ship in that scene. Josh's character points out that PJ weren't perfect and fought, but everyone has issues and PJ worked out in the end.

But it was just a really funny scene.

Pacey/Joey all day, every day. They were so beautiful and hot together, I'm glad they ended up together at the end of the show. Ten and I remember everything will always be one of my favorite moments with a couple.

There were different elements to each that made sense.

Dawson was Joey's family, he was there for her when she had nobody, he supported her when she needed it most of the time. It was forever pure and innocent no matter how the writers tried to make it more.

Pacey inspired Joey and he challenged her. He knew her almost as well as Dawson, but just in a different way. Pacey ignited something in Joey that just didn't match any other relationship she had. And you couldn't deny their chemistry, they sizzled.

When I responded, there were 97 replies and out of those 97 only 11 were Team Dawson. That is an astounding 86-11 Ratio for Team Pacey
