One of my favorite Jen/Joey scenes is in Cigarette Burns when they are talking about Grams dating Mr. Smalls and that giving them hope. I felt like they were in a really go place then!

Topics:

Anyone support Joey ending up alone in the end?
What dating Jack did to Joey's head after the big "reveal."
Pacey/Joey/Eddie triangle as opposed to Pacey/Joey/Dawson.
If Jen hadn't died in the end, who should she have ended up with?
Did anyone not like Joey with Dawson OR Pacey?

I loved that jen/Joey scene, as well as their scene in s3 when Joey was confused about her feelings for Pacey. I feel like the writers really should have put a lot more time on developing their friendship!

I haven't seen the scene about mr Smalls yet, but I totally loved the one in S3 talking about Pacey
I also really liked it when they visited NY together

I really love their relationship, I liked them not liking each other in the beginning and becoming friends anyway

I liked JJ's scenes when Joey was being nice to her but I couldn't stand their scenes when Joey was being an unnecessary b&:$&;
In contrast, I hated jen in s2 and how she tried to get in between Joey and Dawson.

I have always had a weak spot for Jen, but I have to admit, her behaviour in S2 was ridiculous. I know she was having a hard time, but she shouldn't have thrown herself on Dawson when he was together with Joey.
Joey was always kinda bitchy in S1 or insecure, but I didn't like her being mean to Jen. So I guess they were both jealous when one of them was with Dawson I really liked how their relationship evolved though, I didn't think that I would end up liking them, but I did

In seasons 1 and 2 I always felt like the writers were setting them up to eventually become close friends, but it never really happened I mean they did become pretty good friends, but to me it always felt more like casual friends as part of the group than besties?

I think season 4 was the time their friendship was more established, it was funny the way that Jen cracked up when drunk Joey said they weren't really friends (before saying she was kidding ). They were in a good place from then on I think, and it was nice seeing them in New York together later in that season. But then in the college seasons it was more Joey/Audrey and Jack/Jen as best friends I guess?

As I've said before I haven't seen the last 2 seasons so I can't judge about that, but I have to agree with the rest of what you were saying. I agree, I always felt that they had so much potential to become BFF, I'm sad that that didn't really happen. On the other side I really really really love Jen & Jack so that works too for me

I did too enjoy their friendship in S4, they had some great moments that season

i really hated some of the snarky comments joey made to jen. it was an ongoing theme throughout the show.
although, i did love their scenes in the finale.

Yeah, Joey was sometimes really mean to her, Jen didn't deserve that
But they had some sweet moments too. I really like the evolution in their friendship

I agree. I really liked their dynamic in S3 particularly.

She played a huge role in the development of Joey & Pacey. She helped them both realize their feelings for each other
