What do you remember from season 2? Dawson and Joey ruining their friendship by attempting (and failing) a relationship. Pacey and Andie, Abby Morgan (RIP lol), Jackers coming out.

Who was your favourite character in season 2? Paceyyyyy

What made the season stand out to you? Pacey's relationship with his dad, his relationship with Andie, Jack being gay and it being sort of groundbreaking, Jen getting out of control, Dawson's desperate movie, etc.

What did you love? Pacey, Jack, the one scene of Jen and Dawson skinny dipping... it was cute.

Did season 2 live up to your expectations? Not really. It's my second least favorite season.

Did you like it better or less than season 1? Less.

Glad to hear some of you agree with me on the Pacey/Joey/Dawson issue of s1 that followed into s3. It really bothered me re-watching s1 and realizing that again, that Pacey once had feelings for Joey that Dawson knew about.

What do you remember from season 2?
A lot! Pacey/Andie, Joey/Dawson, Joey/Jack, Jack/Jen beginnings, Dawson's movie about him and Joey, Jack coming out, the icehouse, Joey's dad coming home from prison, Jen/Abbey/Chris.

Who was your favourite character in season 2?
Pacey. As always...

What made the season stand out to you?
Pacey/Andie.

What did you love?
Pacey/Andie, Joey/Jack sometimes, and Joey/Dawson when they got together the second time.

What do you remember from season 2? How much I dislike it.

Who was your favourite character in season 2? This is hard.. I honestly don't know. Pacey in a few episodes. Maybe Mitch?

What made the season stand out to you? Jack being gay, how much I disliked it.

What did you love? Mitch getting soaked by the broken dishwasher. Pacey and his dad on the beach, Pacey sticking up for Jack, and then end of Full Moon Rising (Mitch and Gail, DJ and Jen).

Did season 2 live up to your expectations? Nope.

Did you like it better or less than season 1? Much less, S1 is untouchable... very disappointing follow up.

What do you remember from season 2? Dawson and Joey’s failed attempt at a romantic relationship, which ruined their friendship. I hated the way that Joey broke up with Dawson with the bogus excuse that she needed to “find her something, alone,” but she very quickly “found her something” with Jack, and she went back crying to Dawson after Jack revealed he was gay, and I thought the way she broke up with Dawson at the end of Season Two was unspeakably cruel and heartless.

I also hated seeing Jen go off into a “downward spiral,” as her character became a drunk and promiscuous caricature, and I hated the fact that they killed off Abby Morgan, whose gleeful maliciousness was a delight to watch.

On the positive side, I remember Pacey and Andie’s wonderful relationship, which stood in marked contrast to Dawson and Joey’s tumultuous relationship. I loved everything about Pacey and Andie’s relationship, especially how he stood by Andie as her mental health deteriorated. Andie brought true love and devotion into Pacey’s life, and for the first time, Pacey was with someone who believed in him, and who recognized the intelligence and kindness that lay behind his outwardly sarcastic manner. Having Andie in his life allowed Pacey to further develop those characteristics in his personality which were already there but were largely repressed, namely his capacity for kindness and expression of affection. It was also wonderful to see Pacey begin to excel in school, and finally confront his ogre of a father.

Who was your favourite character in season 2? Pacey.

What made the season stand out to you? Mostly, the destruction of Dawson and Joey’s relationship, which I blamed, and still blame, Joey for, and watching Pacey, through his loving relationship with Andie, become the caring and thoughtful young man that I couldn’t help but love and admire. I loved everything about Pacey in Season Two, especially when we got to see examples of his courage and compassion, like in “His Leading Lady” when Dawson told Pacey to give up on Andie, and Pacey replied that he wasn’t going to give up on someone he loved just when she needed him the most, even if Andie herself didn’t realize how much she needed him. Another example was the courage he showed standing up to that malicious teacher on Jack’s behalf during “To Be Or Not To Be.”

What did you love? Pacey and Andie’s relationship, and watching Dawson be there for Joey when her father returned and when Jack revealed he was gay.

Did season 2 live up to your expectations? Not at all. Overall, with the exception of Pacey and Andie’s relationship, I found Season Two to be very disappointing.

Did you like it better or less than season 1? Much, much less.

What did you love? P/Andie, the little DJen scenes we got, Jen's descent only because MW acted great in those scenes

What do you remember from season 2? To be quite honest, not a whole lot. I think having watched the seasons out of order, knowing what I knew and already shipping who I wanted at that point, I was not terribly invested in season 2. I do remember, as has been stated, the regression of Jen from semi-reformed sweetheart to New York bad girl. She seemed to fall back on some of what we were led to imagine she had been like in New York. That season was also a memorable one for her because she met and befriended Jack. And, ofcourse, Abby Morgan. The speech that Jen gave at her funeral was...pure acid but I always agree with her that Abby would have appreciated it more than sugar-coated half truths that would have made the situation less painful for others. Also, I think it was definately Josh's breakout season as far as his acting went. Some of the episodes later in that season were some of the best of the series for Josh and he really took Pacey to another level.

Who was your favourite character in season 2? Jen and Pacey...but they are always my favorites, in every season.

What made the season stand out to you? The whole season seemed a little...disoriented, I suppose. Like the overall quality of the show seemed to wane a little when it was compared to S1. Not to say it was horrid, but it just seemed to lack the direction and meaning that the first season had had which was sad because there were so many issues (Jack revealing his homosexuality, Dawson's parents divorcing, Andie's psychological issues, etc.) that were important to teenagers but seemed like they were a bit stunted because they were all crammed into one season and they all seemed to play second fiddle to the love stories that were going on.

What did you love? Pacey's scenes with his dad. I loathed Mr. Witter but those seaons made my heart bleed for that boy.

Did season 2 live up to your expectations? Not really, and that is saying something seeing as I had no expectations. Like I said, it just all seemed like a jumbled up mess that focused on the wrong things. Sure, there were moments, but it all seemed to get lost.

Did you like it better or less than season 1? Definately less.

Definitely that episode.

But no, Andie was the only character I liked in this episode.
Everyone else made me want to stab them in the face repeatedly.

Oh lol. I don't really remember what happens in that episode besides Andie seeing Abby the ghost, and Jen's brutally honest speech at her funeral.

When I watch season two, it usually ends up being a back drop lol.

What do you remember from season 2? Dawson and Joey's failed realtionship after all that hope in season 1. I guess the DJ realtionship didn't live up to my expectations like I had hoped it would. Jen's downward spiral and the beginning of the greatest realtionship Jen would ever have with Jack. Jack coming out of the closet, since...it was pretty groundbreaking for that time. Pacey and Andie's realtionship, seeing a whole different side of Pacey that we never saw in season 1.

Who was your favourite character in season 2? Pacey and Pacey ohh and Pacey.

What made the season stand out to you? Pacey getting his own story lines

I loved how Pacey wasn't in the shadows anymore and how he became such a great guy and how he matured from season 1 to season 2. Also, Pacey's realtionship with is father, we knew it was bad in season 1, but to actually see how bad it was..is just heartbreaking. I love his scenes with his father, espically when they are on the beach and Mr. Witter is passed out and Pacey crying asking his father, why he doesn't love him

What did you love? Again Pacey getting his own story lines, Jack coming out of the closet, Pacey and his father, Pacey being there for Andie when she really needed him and not running away when Andie goes off the deep end.

Did season 2 live up to your expectations? Nope.

Did you like it better or less than season 1? Less then season 1, but..I like it better for Pacey

What do you remember from season 2?
Dawson & Joey

Their relationship was good but so messed about during this season. Made me sad. Pacey & Andie- the only girl Pacey should be with. I loved P/A. They were so right for each other.

Dawson.

What made the season stand out to you?
Dawson & Joey & Pacey/Andie. They were the real couples of DC unlike the horror that was Pacey/Joey in Season 3 onwards. Jen's descent as well, that was done pretty well. I knew she had issues back in S1 but didn't know how far. Jack coming out was also well done.
