On the finale DVD there are extra scenes and one of them is the very first scene from S1 where we first meet Mitch and Gail (when they're making out on the coffee table and Pacey and Dawson walk in). There's this other guy playing Mitch and he's a bit cheesy and much less hunkier.
 I think they were so right to change him.__________________

I didn't know that. Sometimes being in Australia the DVD sets can be slightly different, so I'll have to check it out and see if the deleted scene is on my DVD set.

There's also another scene from the Pilot where Pacey and Dawson are in the video shop and we first meet Tamara. The only difference in this scene (if I remember rightly) is that Leigh-Anne Huntley is wearing different clothes and they're in a different video store.
