I agree  where did Drue go btw?

Didn't they mention in season 4 he was going to college in Boston as well??...he just like disappeared ...I kind of wish he was mentioned in the series finale.

Well, for me, by the time I got to season four, Pacey and Joey had become the show to me. They were the only characters I really cared for. I never really responded that much to some of the characters (some I didn't like much at all), and the other storylines were not enough to get me to interested in the show enough to watch it. So P/Jo was really the only reason I watched the show by then... it wasn't that I wanted to be biased, I just truly was only interested in them, for the most part.

I have to admit, on later viewing, I loooove late season four angsty moments. Separation Anxiety, for example, is so heartwrenching. :sigh:

As for other season four things, I liked Jack and Jen's continuing friendship. I liked Drue as well. As for Henry, I was a little disappointed with how they ended it. I would have liked Jen to have a decent relationship with a guy for once, and instead they had him break up with her over the internet... Still, I wasn't a huge Henry fan, so oh well.

Andie's departure was a bit sudden, and I wish they would have played up more of that side of the triangle. Plus they could have used her for other things. It was just weird that they nixed her and then went to Audrey the next season. I think they could have used more Andie material, surely. I know some people even mentioned an Andie/Dawson thing. I think that would have been too cliche and kind of overboard, but there could have been friendship battles or something going on.

Oh, and I have to add that I think Pacey looked sooo good this season, especially during the first half... :mischief:

I understand that  For me it's easier I like all the couples and most of the time all the characters

that's how i view shows now.
With DC, it's too late for me now
but all the other shows i am into right now, i keep and opened mind and just enjoy all the pairings (as long as there is chemistry of course, lol).
there are maybe one or two shows where i feel strongly about a pairing, but that's about it.

you know, i never thought it was possible to like both DJo and PJo. i was young when i first started watching, so that could be the reason.

they were the show for me, but as i watched the show over, i appreciated it for different reasons as well.
besides for PJo in the 4th season, i loved Jack/Jen so much too.

Maybe... I've never had a problem like that before, and I remember thinking serious shipping was silly and frivilous, actually. Then I got into DC less than 2 years ago (thanks to the DVDs) and I just had such strong feelings about it... plus, I couldn't help what charfacters/storylines interested me, no matter how much I tried.

All of my other shows, the couples don't really phase me very much... I've always been a multi-shipper for the most part. But apparently not when it comes to DC. Multi-shipping is definitely easier on the nerves... you don't go through a roller coaster of emotions all the time. :P But then again that's why I love DC so much in the first place.

totally agree!! i LOVE multi-shipping, but i just cant with DC.
i am a television freak, no joke, lol.
i watch everything, and for the most part, im happy with everything and everyone.. it makes it so much easier.

but we should totally get back on topic, lol.
I hated Drue the first time around, but love him now and actually wished for him to be around in S5.
who else wishes he were the CMM of S5? i hated charlie, but drue was familiar and fun.

I KNOW I hated Drue when he first came on to the show, I was like 'crap this jerk is going to try to get between PJ' lol...but he grew on me espically for a paring with Jen. And I wouldn't mind him being in season 5 instead of CMM, but not with joey, I'm sorry but jen needs some lovin and not everyone needs to fall in love with joey lol...and I was still hoping for a PJ reunion somehow that season

Myfirstlove 12-19-2007 10:15 PM

i would have had a heart attack if he would have hooked up with joey in season 4, but im just thinking... if she can't be with pacey in S5, why not drue? at least he was funny.

Myfirstlove 12-19-2007 10:25 PM

You know...I think maybe in season 5 Joey should have been single, I mean she had soo much happen to her in the past three years with three different relationships, maybe she needed to be single for a while

I was so afraid of Drue coming between PJ at first... but then when Joey hit him after he kissed her... I had a feeling it was safe. ;) Then I could start to really like him.

I definitely wished it could have been him in season five. I used to like CMM a lot, but I never liked his part on DC. Especially how he changed somehow for Joey...

Jo definitely should have been single in season 5. No doubt about it!
