Season 5 isn't my favorite season, but I didn't think it was horrible. It was interesting to see them all in a new environment.

season five wasn't bad per say, it's just that nothing really happened! and what was the point of jen and dawson getting together, anyway? i loved that jen could be there for dawson as a friend, but the minute they had sex, it just became null. also, no matter how much i adore chad, i will always hate charlie. like not even like him a teeny, tiny bit. or buy his relationship with joey. just?! i always did like the stand alone ep of joey getting robbed though. plus, pacey wasn't as infuriating as he was in either season three or four to me. then again, i do tend to ff his stuff regardless. i'd say the dawson/joey montages during the spring break ep were my favorite. that and grams getting it on with an old dude was surprisingly entertaining!

I honestly don't really remember much from Season 5 or 6, because I've only seen those two seasons once last summer. But I'll be looking forward to rewatching them soon.

I actually liked Jen and Dawson's relationship in Season 5. I thought they were really sweet and mature and they were really good for each other.

I love Chad Michael Murray, but every time I see him, I think of him as Lucas on "One Tree Hill" so that storyline was kind of not there for me.

As far as the episode of Joey getting robbed, I actually liked it. I liked how they kind of flashed back to her father issues.

When Mitch passes away, it still makes me cry. It was very sad.

I wasn't a fan of Chad's character. I mostly know him from being on Gilmore Girls where we plays the same sort of character (a cocky lady's man). I loved when Jen got him back though and became friends with the girl he cheated on her with.

I really liked Joey's mugging episode as well, but then like, they started talking and stuff during the robbery, and it became so unrealistic. But once he was in the hospital and the scenes with his wife (who I know as Harmony from Buffy the Vampire Slayer), I like all of those parts.

Ugh, when Mitch passed away... Heart breaking. Gail's cries breaks my heart so badly!

The robbery was a bit realistic when they were talking, but I loved it for some reason. I know some people are not fans of this episode, but it works for me.


Gail breaks my heart when she cries in that episode. So heartbreaking.

and, oh, yes! mitch died! his death was kind of... funny, actually. i mean, him singing and then tossing the ice cream across the jeep. the letter dawson never got that joey wrote him broke my heart!

Yeah, the fact that he died saving an ice cream cone was a silly writing decision. At least he died enjoying his ice cream and tunes?

I love seeing the character's flashbacks with Mitch. Mitch giving Dawson his first camera, putting up the ladder for Joey, giving Pacey driving lessons... It's too bad Jen didn't have a flashback. You'd think she may have had one when she was a girl during one of her visits at Grams?

I loved the flashback scenes in the episode where he passed away. The music that went along with it, was beautiful too.

I felt bad that I thought the ice cream cone was funny, but it's just such a random way to die.
