I totally agree. I would have liked to have seen Jen and Charlie last. Obviously as he was cheating on her so I was glad she broke it off with him at the time but without the cheating they were so cute together. They had amazing sexual chemistry and lot's of good banter.

On the other hand I totally adored S5 Jen and Dawson, so was happy when they got together again. This should have lasted until the very end, imo. I wish they had ended up together. It would have been so interesting to see them both in a long term loving relationship and for the writers to explore the ups and downs of a normal, healthy relationship than have them break up over yet another silly reason. They could have wrote loads of great stuff for them.

Perfect endgame for me would be PJo and DJen.

I know, hilarious. The expression on her face just cracks me up, she's so serious. And yes they are so sweet! Dawson is so grown up about Charlie in general. Just a great example of how much he matured over the seasons. I can't ever imagine him dealing with being around his girlfriend's ex so well in earlier seasons. Well I guess that's like real life, when we're young we think everything is a big deal, when we get older we realise that it really isn't and in most cases, we need to get over it.

I was never the biggest fan of Dawson and Jen as a couple, but I thought their friendship in that season was sweet. Then again, I thought her S5 friendship with Pacey was sweet too. I was kind of hoping that they were take Jen and Pacey in the direction they did Dawson and Jen in S5 but, alas, it was not meant to be. I just thought it was really great for the writers to bring both of those boys into the picture when Jack and Jen were experiencing trouble in their friendship. Sometimes it felt like the writers were keeping Jack and Jen largely disengaged from the rest of the group, and strictly attached to one another. As much as I love Jack and Jen, it was nice to see her reestablishing relationships with the others.

Jen was unlucky in love but she was quite lucky with her boy friendships, I love that the both of them were here for her when she needed someone

I personally think season 5 was one of the best ones. I thought the characters really grew and came into themselves nicely. I loved the whole season except when Mitch died =(

The Long Goodbye was perfectly acted. The flashbacks they had,

Dawson: I need you to do me a big favor. Jen: You want me to kill him.

I seriously love her.

i kind of like Season 5 so far. Dawson and Jen are ok as friends. Joey getting held up at gunpoint. Wow! i loved the DJo stuff. I'm not through the whole season yet though.

I think the first half of season 5 is really underrated, it was interesting to see the gang in a new setting and they get some good storylines going on. Mitch's death was especially well handled, and Audrey also added an interesting dynamic for that year. It was only towards the end they seemed to lose the focus a bit

And I thought I was the only one that liked Jen and Charlie at first! Charlie/Joey were always kind of blah and didn't make sense to me, he just seemed the latest in a long line to fall head over heels for her, whereas Charlie and Jen were pretty cute in the beginning when they were first getting to know one another. I also loved Dawson/Jen this season and it was a real shame they broke them up as swiftly as they did.

I didn't really like Charlie. The only things I liked about season 5 were Pacey and Audrey and DJo.
