I am a avid watcher of the reruns on PoP when I am home teleworking. Anyways, I noticed that during S1 and S2 PoP has the "Previously on Dawson's Creek" clip before the opening scene. They don't show them for S3 and beyond. Didn't the original airings have that or am I not remembering correctly?

One of my favorite episodes Cinderella Story will be on Monday at 12 pm.

Maybe POP cut out the clip to save time. They like to edit/ cut scenes for time, too.

My DVDs have the previously on DC clips on S2, but S3-S6 don't. I don't recall if S1 has them or not.

Interesting. So either they are just not included in the DVD releases and/or syndicated airings or the show stopped doing it. I'll need to do more research.

I have noticed that. I am watching Longest Day right now and can tell where certain scenes are cut (Pacey motioning to Will to go after Andie, the scene at the dock with Joey and Pacey).

I still do not like that they don't include the S3 montage before the beginning of True Love with Jealousy by Sinead O' Connor playing.

I can confirm that at least S3 and S4 had a "previously on" clip. I just checked my original airing copies of Show me Love and Failing Down. Both episodes showed clips from the previous episode.

It must be a syndication rights issue to not include those from the later seasons.
