It was nice to see Pacey go to Dawson about Joey in Double Date. And funny how he messed with him about making out with Joey all night.
Kind of sad in light of how it went down in s3 but I still appreciate how it was handled in s1. If only the writers had taken a page out of that book later on. Things would've been so much better for all the characters involved but I digress.__________________

^ Things were a lot different in s3 so I don't think so.
 That was over a year later in the series and a lot had changed by then. But that's a discussion for another thread. Anyway, watched Beauty Contest last night and I really liked the DP scenes. It was nice to see Dawson encourage Pacey to do the contest and didn't mock him for it. He knew Pacey had no chance of winning but he still admired his guts and courage. I wonder why the story didn't make the news even though Pacey didn't win? It's pretty unusual, then and now. __________________

I think Pacey and Dawson had a lot of great moments in S1 and it might even be their best season as friends.

I've enjoyed my s1 rewatch for sure.
 I always liked the DP friendship and I was disappointed that they never truly patched things up.  __________________

Age has been good to them.
Watched "High Risk Behavior" last night, the beginning scene of DP reading Dawson's script together was so funny. It was funny when he asked Dawson he talked like that then picked on him for using a big word later. Then Dawson threw the pillow at him. It was such a light hearted and fun scene.__________________
