Dawson & Andie Appreciation thread: What could've been....
 

Maybe I'm the only one who feels this way, but I really thought in Season four that Dawson and Andie were going to have something. They were both recovering from a broken heart and it would've been kind of interesting to see the two of them console one another.

But anyways, if anyone else feels the same way about these two as I do, I hope you post your favorite scenes/photos of the two of them here.

You know I think Dawson and Andie would have made an interesting couple- I think they would have been cute together. I LOVE Dawson so to see him with anyone would make me happy. I wish they would have explored this relationship in Season 4 - than maybe Andie would of stayed on the show longer (cause I love Andie too). I think they would have been really good for each other.

I like how Andie was there for Dawson ( along with Jen and Jack) when he was so heartbroken over Joey and Pacey.

I noticed how Dawson got all dressed up when Andie said she wanted to meet at Leery's Fresh Fish. I wonder if she thought she was asking him out.

Does anyone think that the reason why they didn't put Dawson and Andie together was because of the fact that it was too predictable? I mean, Dawson and Andie had a LOT in common besides there ex's.

*They were both pushing for one dream since they were little and both accomplished that dream. (Andie wanted to get into Harvard and Dawson wanted to be a director and meet Steven Speilburg.)

*They were both the eternal optimist. They were always seeing the positive side in everything. Andie a little bit more than Dawson sometimes.

Dawson and Andie were so hilarious in BCWYWF! Nothing beats them singing the blues, hehe.

They had a classic scene in Tamara's Return as well :)

Yeah, they were cute. But I think that my favorite scene with them was at the end of "True love."

This is the scene that I thought was going to start it all.



(Dawson’s bedroom – he stands in the doorway to find Jen, Andie, and Jack all sitting on his bed)

Andie: (gestureing to the others) Oh, behold, your official pick-me-up posse.

Jen: Yeah, Andie and I were chatting and thought that you could use a little company.

Andie: So then I took it upon myself to call Jack Attack here and tell him to hurry over.

Jack: And then I took it upon myself to run over to the video store and grab some movies.

Dawson: Thanks, guys. I really appreciate you coming over but I– I really think what I need right now is to just—

Andie: Sorry, Dawson. No can do.

Jen: Yeah, I think that the words "I want to be alone right now" are used far too often around here.

Andie: Kinda ranks right up there with, uh, "Can we talk?"

Jack: (chuckles) Yeah, and there's those countless references toward all things Freud and Spielberg.

Jen: Yeah, I'm pretty sure of it. We're not in Capeside anymore, Toto. This is some alternate reality where our intellects are sharper, our quips are wittier, and our hearts are repeatedly broken while faintly in the background some soon-to-be out of date contempo pop music plays.

Dawson: So why does it hurt so much?

Andie: Because our pain makes us real Dawson. But we can't do it alone. None of us can.

Jen: (pats the bed) Sit down.

Dawson: (entering the room) So what did you guys do today?

Andie: Oh my God, you are not going to believe these two. It all started with Jen...

I always thought Dawson and Andie would have been cute together too. In fact KW says he was planning on pairing them but then of course he left and that didn't happen.

That would have been interesting.

I wish he would have tried to work it into the series finale like had Dawson tell Joey and Pacey he had to go 'cause he had plans for the night w/an old friend. And then after staring at the picture of the group, a knock is heard at the door and it's Andie.

Oh that would have been cool.

There needs to be some more Dawson & Andie fiction out there besides at the website I posted earlier.

Anyone have any fan-arts they'd like to share of the two?
