Dawson's Creek on TBS

The series finale will be airing next Friday, Aug 6. Then they will be starting over again with Season 1 on Monday Aug 9. I can't wait to watch the earlier episodes again

I know I love when Season 1 starts up again on TBS. All that magic of D/J comes back and the show in general just seems like a different show when it goes from season 6 to season 1.

Today I woke up at about 11:55, turned on the TV, switched to TBS to see where DC was up to and I literally turned it on when the last scene of "Clean & SOber" came on. It was a lovely way ot wake up

I like Clean and Sober as well. It is 1 of the better episodes of season 6.

What a good wake up call! The last scene in Clean & Sober puts such a huge smile on my face. This PJ scene is one of my favorites of all time. Love it.

I am not a Pacey/Joey season 3 or 4 fan but I did enjoy there mini season 6 thing because I just saw no spark with her and Eddie other then the end scene in Rock Bottom.

Coolcat, I have to agree about the kiss at the end of Rock Bottom. I was actually surprised how good it was

COOLCAT.. That is great that you enjoyed PJ in season 6. I loathed Eddie and Joey from the start. Honestly, the Rock Bottom kiss is a serious blur for me because I can't remember it. Mainly because I probably never concentrated on it due to my disgust for this couple, so I probably have only barely seen it. I should pop in my tape and watch it again, even if it annoys me while doing so.

COOLCAT.. I have a question for you.. IF PJ would have gotten together in a completely different manner, other than how they did in season 3/4, could you have ever seriously shipped them? What I mean is if PJ would have gotten together at a time where Dawson was completely out of the picture.. He either gave them his blessing and/or he was with someone else that he was totally in love with, could you have shipped PJ then? I guess what I am getting at is.. Is it because of the manner that PJ got together in 3/4 the reason as to why you were not a fan of them in 3/4?

Wilpen, I don't blame you. I was home yesterday, so I kept hearing how good it was and didn't really believe anyone because any other time they kiss, it's really bland. I even taped it, so I could see for myself.

Wilpen, just watch the last scene. I would want to have to suffer through the other Joey and Eddie scenes. Hee

thanks Wilpen. They recycled all the Pacey and Joey scenes and gave them to Eddie and Joey without the spark. Here are about three I can think of. The classic rock in the car was in Homecoming. Joey not wanting to talk to Eddie was Neverland. Eddie saying he's not good enough for Joey is Te of Pacey. Hitchiking comment was Home Movies.

Well, For me the reason was D/J completely stole my world. Watching season 1 and them come together was just such magical experience for me. Never before Have I loved or rooted for a couple like I did them I mean I am a guy and even I was yelling at the T.V in the season 1 finale for Dawson to kiss her. So by the time season 3 rolled around I was too into D/J that the P/J stuff did not captivate me like it did a lot of people. Also yes I hated how Dawson became someone I didn't know at the end of season 3 and It crushed me how P/A were destroyed. Now with that said I do understand the show trying something knew and I do understand why people liked P/J and were captivated by it and the end of season 3 was just incredible drama wise. Great acting by all 3.

hshapir2.. You never stop amazing me. I have no clue how you are so in tune with completely analyzing things in a more brilliant way than I think even the writers could ever accomplish. You are absolutely right! It just screams to me that the writers threw Eddie with Joey as an attempt, but a poor attempt at that, to try and capture some of the certain angles of PJ. Boy did that backfire big time! lol

Okay so I watched the scene at the end of Rock Bottom. Yeah, it was a pretty decent kiss. Better than any of the other ones I have to admit. At least this time, Katie and Oliver put some effort into making it appear a little more real I guess. Even though, for the life of me, I still don't have a clue what Joey ever saw in Eddie. I can actually better understand Joey's reasoning for being with Charlie over Eddie. Eddie was just a dull dud.

COOLCAT.. Thanks for your response. I definitely can appreciate your comments.
