| Character/Actor trademarks? Katie/Joey has the whole "hair tuck" thing that is purely Katie... James has the "one eyebrow" raise thing going on that he does in the opening credits of Season 1 and 3(and throughout the series)that always reminds me of Dawson/James... But I can't think of a mannerism, or maybe even a "trademark" line/phrase that is purely Jen/Michelle, Kerr/Jack or Pacey/Josh. Or maybe even one of the other supporting cast members like Gail, Grams or Abby? Any thoughts?? | |||

| Jen/Michelle does the thing were she brings her arms up, crosses them and caresses her own arms as if to comfort herself in her insecure moments. Josh/Pacey does the "a-ha" finder in the air thing. And he has that comical walk he does when he is trying to act all non-chalant. Like when he's done something questionable but pretends he has no idea. These are all sounding vague. | I was actually thinking about this the other day. Though all I have is katie and josh at this moment. Josh has a thing I noticed while watching TBS recently. When he is uncomfortable or anxious he has a tendency to run his hand across his mouth and down his chin. I think the first time I noticed him do it, he had the beard, so I thought it had to do with that but then I saw him do it once without it. I think it's really endearing and kind of sexy when he does it. [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img] Katie's, is not so much a trademark as a state of being. I don't think this is intentional, which is why it bugs the heck out of me every time I notice it, but Katie slouches terribly. I mean, I understand, I think, why she does it. She is supposedly 5'8" or 9", which is rather tall for the average girl and certainly so for the average WB actress. But there are times when the camera pans back and we get a full length shot of her profile and she is just really bent over. In a moment where she might have come across as elegant or statuesque she appears hunched and akward. Not to bash Katie or anything. She is enviably gorgeous but I think she could come across as even more lithe and graceful if she would work on her posture. He did it in "Neverland" at the beginning when he and Katie are in the truck arguing(right after kiss) and he says something like "OK..now that I've thought about it..I take it back". | |||

| James/Dawson has these two things he does, one of them is when he's stressed about somthing he runs his fingers through his hair, and the other thing james/dawson does is he always scratches the back of his neck, it adorable. And i noticed when joey & dawson are hugging,joey/katie always hooks her arms together when there around dawson's neck, does that make sense? When josh/pacey is nervouse bout somthing he lets out this laugh, i don't know if josh does it, but pacey does.
