I just discovered that V has a ship she loathes more than PJ and I can't get over it, cuz it's a couple I ship!! She loathes Edward/Bella more than PJ. I never knew such a loathing could exist if her PJ loathing is like my own.

Hey guys, I have another reason why PJ sucks.
The fact that Pacey and Joey never question the nature of their relationship. They never really talk openly as to why they love each other. They just sort of...Started being a couple. Yeah, I don't buy it.

And they never know what's going on in the other's life. Joey had no idea Pacey was failing, colour me confused.

I know, they had terrible communication issues. Dawson and Joey had far better communication issues. They were honest with each other almost all of the time. If Pacey really was secure with his relationship with Joey, she would've known. Honesty was something horribly lacking in their relationship.

The fact they barely communicated with each other only makes the whole "we have a more mature relationship" speech even more ridiculous and false. How can you have a mature relationship if you constantly lie to each other or if you avoid certain (and very important) issues in order to pretend everything is fine?

Well, Promicide was there to prove this (and I'm glad for that episode )

I agree completely, they hardly ever talked about what was going on in each other's lives. They didn't invest in each other's lives at all. They were together, for the sake of being together and nothing more, not because they loved each other, because they were guilty. They both tore Dawson apart because they wanted to see what being an official couple was like, when they found out that both of them wanted different things out of the relationship, it all fell apart. Pacey and Joey make for good friends, but not as lovers.

My PJ loathing is like yours, so you can imagine how much I loathe the other couple. But well, Ive hated PJ longer.

And PJ having a more mature relationship is such a laugh, I mean both of them constantly evaded real issues, and instead of talking about them, denied, lied, decieved and made out, hoping all that would help. Not to mention how they ignored the elephant in the room, I mean, Dawson.

And I dont think they even made for good friends. They were good as Dawson's friends, who couldnt stand each other.

I agree with all of your statements, unlike Joey and Dawson, they weren't honest with each other. The whole series finale speech that the two of them shared was a joke. Pacey was always in love with Joey from the start? I don't think so! Joey was running from Pacey's love? Hell no!

I know. Pacey was so much better as a character when he wasn't with Joey. Plus, I can't stand why Joey broke up with Dawson in the season two finale. That was completely stupid, also Andie's out of character act of cheating on Pacey disrespected everything Pacey and Andie had. The writers tore the whole story apart just to place Joey and Pacey together. Pacey and Joey were the biggest mistake that the writers ever made.
