It would take countless of hours and a lot of patience to go through moments why DJ suck together. Plus...so much DJ could cause someone problems

Exactly. It was a safe place to be but you can't live life like that. You need to take risks and make mistakes it's how you grow. I love that Jen said that to her daughter in that tape she made they were so true. And it was was important advice.

Im marathoning season 1 of DC because I miss the early PJo days, and I realized I didn't hate DJo relationship in the first two seasons. I definately never shipped them but I didn't hate them. The only thing I hated about DJo early on was their lack of chemistry. It was season 3-onwards that I began to hate their pairing and Dawson began to urk me

Me too. I don't know... it's the creepy incestuous vibe I get from them, plus the complete lack of any heat that gets me. It seems so, so wrong that he thinks of her as a sister, that they have little kid sleepovers for years... and then later want to get it on? Ewwww.

Seriously! Half the reason I hated Dawson and Joey there was NO heat and passion. I shipped PJo right from the pilot because I knew all their anger towards each other was repressed sexual tension. I never saw any of this sexuality in DJo. All of their romantic scenes was like a love story gone so wrong. It disgusted me that he saw her as a sister and kept verbalizing this over and over again and then all of a sudden he wanted to screw her? It's like trying to get laid by your first cousin

How awesome was that. I mean, they don't even have to fight to show how wrong for each other they are. The pilot moment when Joey says she didn't want to hold his hand but didn't want Jen to do it either is a perfect example. Even when they are happy together is a perfect example they aren't meant to be romantically entangled, lol. You can feel the brother-sister vibe and the lack of progress in their relationship that makes Joey feel trapped and highly disappointed. But I def love those little anti moments...when Dawson is so oblivious about her feelings in Detention, when Joey refused to go with him to L.A. in Swan Song, the way they sang Daydream Believer in Stolen Kisses in a childish way while at the end the same song sounded in a more mature version when she was kissing Pacey

One of my favorites moments is when Joey says nice guys never made her stomach go flip flop. That confirms you how she always tried to convince herself that Dawson was the one even when her heart was saying a different thing. She thought that was supposed to be that way. With Pacey it was the other way around. Her love for him took her by surprise and she didn't want to trust her feelings for him, she tried to deny it as much as she could, and knowing him and all his flaws, she couldn't help but love him and there was a great passsion between them, an overwhelming, powerful attraction
