In a way it seems nice to be fifteen and not bother with the world and act out Jaw's scenes in a closest, but...what would people think about you when your 40 acting like a 15 year old with your husband? You would be that weird couple down the street that parents wont let you go near

Even though I was quite opposed to Pandie from the beginning, I ended up finding their scenes a much-needed relief from all the pointless Dawson and Joey drama-fest. First we see the tender sweetness of Pacey towards Andie in one scene. Following that are bitter, childish bits of Dawson and Joey finally "moving on" from their relationship fights -- only to make each other miserable after the breakup too.

hee! So true. And they would sleep in their "usual" position -- Joey uncomfortable and miserable facing away from him; Dawson on his back, completely clueless (as per usual) about her feelings.

Haa, and when PJo slept in a bed together for the first time there was so much sexual tension and touching of butts lol.

yeah i love that! with dawson, for the most part it was like sleeping in the same bed with a girl friend.

with Pacey, she was with a man and she "felt it."

So true. That's why I have a hard time making comparisons because PJ are in a whole other league. There really is no comparison.

Even the scene from the Pilot, when she sleeps over. I don't believe for a second that Pacey and Joey could do that for 10 YEARS, and still just be friends lol.

So I just rewatched the entire show. And for real, the word soulmate no long has meaning to me. The point is, Joey was right. Dawson will never out grow his Peter Pan syndrome. D/J didn't GROW UP together at all. So in hopes of holding on to his childhood, he holds on to Joey. And at first, I kind of feel bad that Dawson doesn't end up with anyone in the finale, but in a way he does. He ends up with his childhood (his show). I think he's happy there!
And besides, their kisses have NO passion in them!

ITA, Ro. Safe is a great word for DJ. They were each other's security blankets after all.

In FTT, Dawson tells Joey that when they were together all they ever did was provide each other with comfort, and I couldn't agree more. It was the safe and comfortable way out, as opposed to putting themselves out there to other people and falling in love and feeling alive.
