Thanks for those quotes, Romina. Pacey was my favorite anti-DJer as well. He always said exactly what I was thinking about them.

i think Jen was a great anti-DJer at times as well.
I won't count season 2 because her anti-Jo-ness came from selfish reasons, but starting in S3 onwards, she saw how unhealthy they were...
as did Jack and many many many others.

I really do believe that little b y little they all saw the problem with that relationship. They all said things that prooved they thought they should have their shot but that it wasnt healthy and that it wont work;

I agree, Mel. I felt like the Capsidians who were pro-DJ were just because they wanted them to have their shot and then move the hell on... once and for all.

Pacey was priceless in VDM.

I know its priceless! his speech is so true seriously their dialogus about themselves always makes me wanna puke, i alawys do something else while it's them because its so annoying! And i think Pacey was anti DJ not because of his feelings for Joey but because he was at the best place (Dawson's bff) to see how unhealthy it is for the both of them. And yeah all capeside concluded that too after a while.

Rewatching the eppie "Weekend in the country" made me realise something... Mitch asks Pacey why he cares so much and tells him a lot of great stuff and...Dawson at the end thanx Pace for doing what he does, taking care of Joey but doesnt even realise that there is something more than just that??

Awww is that possible?? I mean if he knew Joey so much and if he cares that much how come he isnt the one doing this? how come he doesnt see they are really close? i guess he cant rzad that much into her eyes after all

To true. That's another example of Dawson's talk of knowing Joey better than anyone contradicting what actually happens on the show. He's the only one who didn't know Joey was falling for Pacey, yet he's so in touch with Joey's feelings.
