Really? I don't understand when writers say things like that when they create the characters. If a character doesn't have longevity, why bring them into the show in the first place? Unless they're only around for a few episodes which wasn't the case with Andie. She was her own person outside Pacey, well developed in s2.

Why was Meredith Monroe let go?Very simple she was starting to outshine Katie Holmes.

Meredith is a better actress than Katie, and in my opinion far better looking. They went to a lot of trouble to hide Andies looks
