[3x13] "Northern Lights" May 17th - May 23rd
The Official Dawson's Creek Board Rewatch Thread "Northern Lights" ~ 3x13 Synopsis: Dawson, lacking inspiration, makes the radical move of dropping out of film class to spend some time re-evaluating his life. Back at the bed and breakfast, Joey is torn between attending Pacey's opening night and her date with A.J., who has come to Capeside for the evening. At the play, Andie must take over as director when Mr. Broderick falls ill. Jen agrees to meet Henry, but she throws him another block by bringing Grams as her date.  We would like to invite everyone to participate in our re-watch, be it first-time viewer or long-time fan. This is our opportunity to relive the Dawson's Creek days and to discuss our favorite moments, things we would like to change or maybe totally new things we never noticed before. We will watch one episode every two weeks. Due to our different time-zones we decided to not name an exact time and date, so everyone can decide for themselves when they watch the episode. We will update this thread every second Friday, when we start a new episode, so all discussion can take place in here too. Have Fun!  __________________

Love this episode. Love the Pacey and Joey scenes. The scene were Pacey tries to get Joey to not go with AJ is hilarious. As he is talking he realizes how good she looks and it stops him in his tracks.

 Joey always looks good in scenes that she wears a light blue top. This episode, future tense and clean and Sober to name a few. The beginning scene where PJ is rehearsing lines and joey realizes the scene turns romantic and quickly drops the dialogue. Love it! __________________

Love Pacey pushing Bessie out like that. This episode was sweet. I really like the scene with Pacey and Jen after the play. It's the first time someone acknowledges Pacey's feelings for Joey. |

This episode was boring too, ugh I just am not enjoying this season at all! AJ is cute I guess but i still cant get over how rude he was to Joey in the beginning. The Pacey/Andie scene was nice. DJO SCENE AT THE END! "I've been waiting all night for this and it happens now with you." |

It wasn't the most exciting episode and I never really felt the whole AJ/Joey pairing. I enjoyed the Pacey moments and how he was hanging around Joey and not because I was waiting for them to get together, I just thought he was so darn cute throughout the episode.
I thought the end scene with Joey and Dawson was perfect in that they got to see the Northern Lights together. __________________
