[3x11] "Barefoot at Capeside" May 2nd - May 9th
The Official Dawson's Creek Board Rewatch Thread "Barefoot at Capeside" ~ 3x11 Synopsis: Dawson experiences an identity crisis when Nikki emerges as filmmaking competition, and Joey experiences her own crisis when Dawson won't open up to her about the pain of his parents' divorce. Meanwhile, Jack's first efforts to hit on another boy are rebuffed, Pacey and Andie uncomfortably find themselves sharing the same after school activity, and Jen finally sees that she may have passed up the chance at something special with Henry.  We would like to invite everyone to participate in our re-watch, be it first-time viewer or long-time fan. This is our opportunity to relive the Dawson's Creek days and to discuss our favorite moments, things we would like to change or maybe totally new things we never noticed before. We will watch one episode every two weeks. Due to our different time-zones we decided to not name an exact time and date, so everyone can decide for themselves when they watch the episode. We will update this thread every second Friday, when we start a new episode, so all discussion can take place in here too. Have Fun!  __________________

I love PJo's buildup in season 3.
This episode isn't really one of my favorite from season 3, but I remember liking the Dawson/Joey scene at the end (with the John Lennon poster and Joey telling Dawson that she hears him, no matter how much they yell or how quiet he is). |

I do hate how andie's character was ruined in this season to PJo together.

Another sort of blah episode...
Pacey joining the play and Andie's word was sort of rude imo because she wanted to separate herself from him and try to get over him. Dawsons SL was boring to me, it was hard for me to really care about what was going on there with Nikki. I enjoyed Jack's storyline but again, I hate the seperation between all the characters. I liked Jen's storyline and I love that Henry tried telling to her back off because I agree that it wasn't fair that try to stay in his life when she couldn't reciprocate feelings. She had every right not to feel something but if he didnt want to be friends that was his prerogative. That final DJo scene  |
