[3x03] "None of the Above" January 4th - January 10th
The Official Dawson's Creek Board Rewatch Thread "None of the Above" ~ 3x03 Synopsis: Dawson is stunned when Eve presents him with an advance copy of the PSAT exam he and his friends will be taking shortly. The entire gang are tempted to cheat for various reasons, and when the test goes missing, it becomes obvious that one friend in particular was unable to resist the temptation. In the quest to discover who stole the paper, Dawson gets into a fight with Pacey, who is still reeling from his break-up with Andie. As the gang takes the exam, the thief is revealed to be Andie, who is desperate to ace the test to prove that she is recovered from her medical problems. None of the group yet know who the guilty party is. Elsewhere, Jack is adamant he will be giving up football until a persistent Jen manipulates him into thinking otherwise.  We would like to invite everyone to participate in our re-watch, be it first-time viewer or long-time fan. This is our opportunity to relive the Dawson's Creek days and to discuss our favorite moments, things we would like to change or maybe totally new things we never noticed before. We will watch one episode every two weeks. Due to our different time-zones we decided to not name an exact time and date, so everyone can decide for themselves when they watch the episode. We will update this thread every second Friday, when we start a new episode, so all discussion can take place in here too. Have Fun!  __________________

Me neither. I guess it's understandable because she went to that psych hospital, and she's sure to have some drawbacks when she goes home, but sometimes it just got way out of hand, and too OOC.

This episode was a bit blah to me. But I did enjoy the group scenes.
Eve, be gone. I cant stand this character. It's like a repeat of Abby to me but less hostile.... Not much for Dawson this episode besides his dragging scenes with her. I found Andie just dismissing the break up stuff with Pacey to be a bit odd, but I assume she is just trying to pretend that she's okay instead of taking in the hurt she is probably actually feeling. I did like seeing Pacey hurt though because it felt more realistic. Andie stealing the test was not a shock. They were trying hard to assassinate her character this season and I'm not here for it.  Glad to see Joey's boss Rob again if only to continue that storyline because it felt dropped in there. He's a complete jerk though and a typical macho dude that can't handle rejection. Gross. At least they are keeping it consistent with the PJo scenes. It was definitely clear they were building to something this season. It was sweet of Joey to defend Pacey and bring him something for his lip. At least their friendship forming feels natural and not forced. Dawson/Pacey fighting sucked, I hate when they fight. And I didnt love that Joey just took Pacey's side, but I truly feel like she was taking things out on him because of Eve. Henry's crush on Jen is really cute. I was enjoying his scenes with Jack too. __________________

I liked the interaction between Pacey and Andie because it got things out in the open. I hate it Pacey and Dawson fight as well, but they made up in the end, so that was good.
I agree with you about Pacey and Joey's growing friendship seeming natural, it's so true and I suspect part of that has to do with the chemistry of Josh and Katie. I loved how Joey recognized that Dawson was being a dick and defended Pacey, but she also wasn't fooled about who took the first swing and called Pacey out on that one. This is the only episode we see Pacey's room, so that was a bonus.  __________________

Pacey and Dawson just work so much better as friends, not as rivals. I can't stand when they are at odds, it hurts me.
Pacey. I do like that Joey called out Pacey so it wasn't like she was completely on his side. __________________

That comment about it hurting you when Pacey and Dawson are at odds is right on the money. I kind of feel that way too when it happens, it's almost cringeworthy to see them arguing with each other.
