The Official Dawson's Creek Board Rewatch Thread

"The All Nighter" ~ 2x07

Synopsis: Facing the scariest English test of their lives, the gang has an all night study session at wealthy, horny Chris Wolfe's house. During the night, secrets are revealed and friendships are altered. The truth about Pacey's affair with Tamara is publicly revealed, much to Andie's horror. Dawson and Joey discuss their relationship.

We would like to invite everyone to participate in our re-watch, be it first-time
viewer or long-time fan. This is our opportunity to relive the Dawson's Creek days and to
discuss our favorite moments, things we would like to change or maybe totally new
things we never noticed before. We will watch one episodes every two week. Due to our different time-zones we decided to not name an exact
time and date, so everyone can decide for themselves when they watch the episode.
We will update this thread every second Friday, when we start a new episode, so all discussion
can take place in here too. Have Fun!

Dawson and Joey really bug me in this episode. So much angst, it's hard to handle.

Pacey and Andie are so sweet in this episode though. When Pacey was honest on his quiz because he didn't want to lie to Andie, even if it meant her being mad at him. And how he managed to take control of the study group and get everyone on track so Andie could relax.

I love how much Andie inspired Pacey to grow up and be responsible, even so soon in their relationship.

I like how they were all cramming for the test in the morning.

Love the scene where Joey talks about the two times that she fell in love and that they were both with Dawson. And Dawson tells Joey that he'll give her space, but that doesn't change his feelings for her either. "Nothing could change that."

That was cute

I don't think any of them got a good night sleep!

I took a peek back at the episode and I saw the part where Pacey gives Joey her seat belt.

That scene was totally unecessary but I love that they gave it to us anyways

I don't think that was by accident

Chris was such a trouble maker. This was only the first of his milti episode ark

I was upset with Andie for judging and acting morally superior towards Pacey after she discovered he wasn't embarrassingly pure after Tamara!

And I loved Pacey's response to Andie asking if he was ashamed by it (or something like that) and he said Why. I loved his honesty there as well, he was completely open about it which is just one more reason why I like him so much.

I loved his honesty too! It was great that he was willing to be honest with her even knowing that she would be upset because he cared about her

chris, ugh. and jen once again with another guy. not liking her this season at all.

i felt bad for andie but pacey/tamara was in the past and i think she overreacted a little bit.

glad joey/dawson had a talk and seemed to come to an understanding.

it was a good episode with all of them together.
