So excited to start season 2, I love this season

the andie/pacey interaction is freaking adorable! i loved their first scene together and how sweet andie was.

djo were cute this episode as well, i am so glad they got together.

Jen was being pretty annoying in the episode but I understood why she was feeling the way she was due to her grandfathers death.

So, starting my season 2 rewatch, and I’m soooooo looking forward, because season 2 is my favorite season – not only from DC, from all similar TV-Shows so far. It’s the season I became addicted. And even the first episode is a great one!


Joey/Dawson were very cute in this episode, especially after the first kiss. Both are like, “oh… we kissed… and now?” And of course the famous second kiss on the swing. That’s really really really sweet as well. First time I watched it, I was really happy for them.

I still like it, but….. with everything I know now, I see some things different.
Remember season 4 when Pacey was practically Joey begging to break up with him, because he was afraid he could stop her from anything? And now compare it with Dawson – he not only discouraged Joey in going to Paris, but, when she decides to stay, he is “relieved” and don’t bother just one minute that she miss a really big opportunity.
Okay, to Dawson’s defense, he is much younger than Pacey in season 4 and Pacey had some serious troubles by the end of season 4, so it is maybe a bit unfair to compare them, but I just can’t see Pacey acting like this.

And then Grams/Jen. I always admire Grams and her strength and her faith, and when she comforts Jen or when she comes to the cinema to be with her late husband, it always gets me. She's the best!

Biggest highlight is, of course, the beginning of Pandie, my all-time-favorite-couple. Officer Pacey is just hilarious, and so is Andies revenge. And if you want to, you can even in this episode see that there is something between them, especially regarding Andie.

I too loved Pacey and Andie's first meeting and I so love the improv of Officer Pacey, he killed it and Andie was so adorable in that scene being a little tongue tied and yet talking the whole time. It was a perfect meet cute.

I also liked when Joey and Dawson kissed at the swings. You feel that one more than the awkward first kiss. I like that they wrote in the story about how the second kiss is better (I can't quite recall the actual dialogue, but it added to the build up of the kiss).

Yes! Andie was just adorable in this scene! She needs only one scene to conquer hearts.

Yes, I loved that too! I normally don’t like Bessie very much, but her remarkable speech about the second kiss belongs to the category “things I learned from Dawson’s Creek for real life”.
