It definitely deserves credit for paying tribute to so many past and even present DC iterations in the media over the years.
There’s always been this tradition in having past DC actors come in to pass the torch to the next incarnation. But this went beyond that.
Shows the producers have a great deal of respect for DC history. So maybe the universe is actually in good hands.
