I don't even get that as we only close weekends & public holidays. So seems lucky to me
I would presume a lot of teachers are still working through those breaks too so it's not completely paid for days off. Then it would be a bit wrong to just stop paying someone for a few weeks because the school is closed. You would need to budget so you know you have the money for those periods. This way that isn't necessary
