There isn't really much that can be done. The same thing was said about the bulging discs in my back discovered years ago. Basically for the stress fracture, you avoid what aggravates it. In my case, that's not straining or overdoing it with my back. That's something I do every day anyway. The job I have isn't a huge help, but a sit-down job wouldn't necessarily be the answer either.

I'm considering going ahead and seeing a specialist as I had another mini bad day yesterday. I'll have to call her and get the referral I need.

Of course, losing weight can help...surprised that topic wasn't the focus of the whole appointment. Doctors love to go there as much as they can.
