^ Really? For names like Sykes, I always thought it was usually spelled, "Sykes" and for the most part "sikes" was for like a practical joke spelling.
Like example, "Mrs. Sykes decided to join a strip club group to celebrate being 82 years old ... sike, I made you believe that didn't I?"
