I saw Before Sunrise years and years ago when I was in my teens and couldn't truly appreciate it for what it was. I ended up watching Before Sunrise when it first came out on DVD and just fell in love with who these characters had become. Of course, this made me go and rent Before Sunrise so I could get a better understanding of how these characters ended up where they were and why they felt the things they did.
One of my favorite moments from both films is when Jesse is speaking at the bookstore about his book, and a lady asks him if he met up with Celine six months later ... then he goes into how a romantic would believe that they did and a cynic would believe that they didn't.
