i watched an old movie with bruce in it the other day
it was called bonfire of the vanities (1990)
its an absolute stinker of a movie
the cast featured tom hanks, melanie griffith and morgan freeman
tom hanks was badly miscast
while bruce, tom hanks and morgan freeman's careers survived there were some career casualties from that movie
melanie griffith, who had only recently given birth to dakota johnson for the filming of bonfire of the vanities, and there she was getting her clothes off post partum
interestingly brian de palma -the director, who also did the untouchables and scarface, did kick on for a little bit longer with mission impossible, snake eyes and carlitos way, with his last reasonable film being the black dahlia (2006)
bottom line: bonfire of the vanities was not cinema's finest hour
