I do agree that AYITL was written more cynically in regards to Rory although I don’t necessarily feel that’s a bad thing. Even though her life now has turned a corner, I feel that she’ll be fine because she has such a great support system with her mom and grandmother.
It’d be really interesting to see Emily as a great grandmother.
