When did that actress say that particular line about Spike understanding Buffy so well and her needing to learn his viewpoint on herself? I'd like to find out so I can better understand them, and if anyone understands a character, I'd say it's the performer who plays that character, unless its the one who the character's based upon- and that can be downright scary. Just think of the notations of who/what the First is supposed to be, and find that monster in the character of "Count Iblis" in Battlestar Galactica, and you'll see what I mean, especially if you grasp the real identity of that monster- and the First Evil really is a monster in those shows too, by different names.
