The rumors about the incest in the Borgia family were spreading across Rome. Fearful that they might be on the dangerous way to spread rumours, Vanozza decided to take the initiative and make sure that these rumors were discredited. She went to Rodrigo and asked him to prevent all rumors about Cesare and Lucrezia from their family relation.
