I've been really struck, today, with how much Jess shaped up, compared to the other boyfriends, or even just, in general, young guys/any guys in the show. I don't dislike Logan, but there's something really at the heart of, "We used to make fun of guys like that," that isn't jealousy or snippiness.
(And, the actor turned out to be a level above in that respect, too. Not raining on anyone else's parade, but there's a real skill there.)
