They need to save Karolina & Chase. Plus Gert/Old Lace is with her father so the kids are all scattered now. For the adults, the Steins are technically missing (along with Chase). Plus Tina & Stacey (Gert's mom) are not themselves so they're probably in hibernation? Not knowing what they are doing now that aliens probably are inhabiting their body?
