I think if a lot of the season one writers were not fired from the WB and stayed on we would of had more amazing stories like the ones we are talking about. The plot for it was all there.
If you ever collected the season one trading cards on the back you get glimpses of what season two was going to look like. Howie from the Backstreet Boys was going to get a major plot line in season two instead of his one liner in season one of "It has begun". Not sure what it was going to be but on the back of the card it reads you will see more of him in season two.
I think they also mention Tess are being a Princess as well.
