Yup which is why he didn't even think of pretending his thoughts in those dreams were fake and not him. lol

Angel was always in denial about Angelus when it came to a lot of stuff.
I love that Darla was probably really the only one who can for a little bit get him to know that both sides have some similarities and those Angelus feelings did transfer on to him with a soul even if he didn't want it to. Especially when he first turned to Angel, all he wanted was Darla. It was who/what he knew.

Season 2 of Angel, he was fighting for her to the point he was willing to die for her... so I'd say those Angelus feelings were pretty powerful in terms of the impact Darla had on him... because Angelus was willing to die for her as well.
