My love of creating Maze involves it all. Her costumes are a big part of who she is. So I work closely with the wardrobe department and had to really flight for this one. The producers where afraid of putting Maze in a suit in this special scene in episode 9. It’s not her traditional look. So I set a meeting with Joe and Ildy to explain why wanted it. My reference was Marlene. Always Marlene 😍 A women who so brilliantly gave us masculinity and femininity at the same time. Maze needed to draw on both these qualities in order to do what she does in this scene. So visually, I wanted her to armor up and go for it. I’m grateful they trusted me. @lucifernetflix
