So, I called the house for Easter today. It was a really great talk, and I knew better, but I asked if my brother and April were hanging out together. Answer I got-"April's been gone for months." I asked where she went to, and Mom called Animal Control to come take her away.
So, since she's older, she would have been put to sleep right away.
At any rate, like I said before, I'd rather her be put to sleep than given away, so, that I can deal with. My mother was such a coward that she couldn't face April, take her to my vet and have her put to sleep. (It's free there).
I'm trying not to think about how April felt being taken to Animal Control, and put in a cage.
