It is sad, but it's also something we need to have a conversation about if it turns out to be true. Because if it is, it's the second time in my lifetime that a President has basically been mentally incapacitated. The steps we have for dealing with that, it seems no one is willing to take them. I'm not impressed that Colin Powell hid how bad off Reagan was, as much as I generally respect him - the American people had a right to know. There needs to be more of an understanding that when you're part of a Cabinet, you're not actually working for the President - you are working for US. You owe US the truth.
