TFTNT!
Went out with my brother and his girlfriend on our first outing since I moved. We went to see an "Old fashioned butcher shop" that turned out to be a big disappointment. Then we went to a really good barbecue place for lunch, and then to a couple of pet stores. I wanted to check out the puppies at one store, because although I'd still prefer to get a rescue dog, they just don't seem to get the small, hypoallergenic breeds that I want. I can't handle a large dog and it seems that the shelters here have almost nothing but large dogs. The puppy I played with at the pet store was impossibly cute and playful and I barely escaped! But I do want to wait a bit more to see if something turns up at a shelter.
